Tall and rather presidential in stature, Ed Fields is vice president of association management services for Projects Unlimited, Inc. Originally from Milwaukee, Ed received his undergraduate degree in marketing from Alabama State University and earned his MBA from the University of Alabama. In the community, Ed’s affiliations include the American Society of Association Executives, Alabama Association of Nonprofits, Birmingham Urban League Young Professionals, and Central Alabama Women’s Business Center.
Given an extra moment, Ed can be found planning for his hopeful opportunity to sit down with President Obama, making his wife laugh, reading, or being quoted by J. Bauer. Next time you watch 24, note that some of the key phrases probably initiated with Ed. When he is not giving lines for major networks, he and his wife enjoy taking in all that Birmingham has to offer by riding with the car windows down, listening to Hip-Hop and NPR. Recommended readings include: The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Dr. Stephen Covey, and The Miseducation of the Negro by Dr. Carter G. Woodson.
