Charles Lewis

charlesThe organizing founder of Birmingham Change Fund, Charles Lewis, a Flint, Michigan native, calls Birmingham home, and has dedicated much of his time and talent towards promoting and extending the awareness of philanthropy. An engineer with Southern Company, Charles, or “Big C” as he is called at home, currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Community Investment Network, and has been actively involved in organizations such as NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers), Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Big Brothers Big Sisters, CATALYST of Birmingham, Hands-on-Birmingham, Habitat for Humanity, and United Way of Central Alabama.
